Video Poker Winner Earns Small Pay Day for Machine Glitch
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp. came into some trouble recently when one of their video poker machines told a player he was a million dollar winner two days in a row when he really did not win. The Ontario Lottery Gaming Corp had to shut down all 296 machines to check for glitches. The video poker machines have only a $40,000 win limit so there is no way the player could have won one million dollars. It was clearly a malfunction so the Gaming Corp will be checking all machines.
The problems first began last Saturday when a man was playing the Bonus Poker Deluxe video slot machines. The machine showed a win in the millions which it is unable to do. The man saw this glitch twice so he was paid $1,000 and then $4,000 for his troubles.
The OLG has disabled fifty seven more machines with the Bonus Poker Deluxe video slot game and will be checking it for glitches as well. It would not be good if any more players think they have won millions of dollars only to earn just thousands.
