Smappsoft planning new video poker game with twist
Smappsoft is a developer of top notch applications and gaming options, especially in the poker genre. The company recently announced they are planning a new video poker game to be released and they have demonstrated the new game at the 2012 Macworld/iWorld Expo.

Smappsoft had the new game, titled Pokertini, at the 2012 Macworld/iWorld Expo for everyone attending to check out. The Pokertini game is played like video poker but gives players more options. The game is set up so players are literally playing three video poker machines at one time.

Players will place a wager and it will be spread between the three hands. However, bets can be transferred from one hand to another as the player would like. This is how the game is similar to standard video poker, but the similarities end there.

The new feature of the game is called ‘Twists’ which are called Power-ups by Smappsoft. The twists can be anything from swapping of cards to re-dealing. Each Twist costs coins to use so players will have to decide if they want to lose the coins for each ‘Twist’.

Players will start the game with 2,000 coins and then have the ability to earn more as they play the game. Players who lose all of their coins ca buy more via an in-app purchase if they so choose. The game will be made available for the iPod touch, iPad and iPhone.
